TIRANA, June 21 – Heavy rain and strong wind caused serious flooding problems in different areas in the country and also spoiled the weekend plans for many. That also negatively affected the normal functioning of the country’s ports and the sea traffic.
Some houses in the eastern town of Librazhd were flooded causing serious trouble to the families sheltered there. Besides many ferries were obliged to postpone their boarding or change their traffic times. All fishing boats were not let to go out on the sea.
In other areas the power was cut due to the damage of the electricity pillars or other equipment.
Luckily there were no more serious problems. Temperatures were at least 5-6 degrees lower compared to last week.
