TIRANA, Dec 8 – Health authorities throughout the country have increased their checking of local grocery markets out of fears that the upcoming holidays may result in stores selling expired goods.
Health authorities have planned to apply continuous controls over the large markets.
Earlier this year, they closed six businesses and fined 220 others for selling irregular goods.
