Human trafficking cases, policemen involved

TIRANA, Oct. 28 – Tirana police reported they had arrested Emiljano Gjoka, 26, for participating in illegal human trafficking. Gjoka worked at Mother Teresa international airport and is suspected of selling a fake British passport to another person for 3,000 Euros. In another similar case police fired from its ranks Agustin Gjini, a policeman in Shkodra, for violating disciplinary steps. Police also arrested Ritvan Ajazaj, 26, a resident of Grishe village in Shkodra, who was stopped at Rinas airport with a fake Finish passport. Lavdimir Shabanaj, 31, was arrested after Italian authories had deported him for using a false British passport. Shabanaj said he had secured the passport after he had paid 3,000 Euros. Police arrested Xhavid Celiku, 73, for producing false documents, and Denis Skenderi, 26, deported from Italy with a false passport.
