Interior minister thanks international partners for cooperation

TIRANA, Dec. 13 – Interior Minister Sokol Olldashi met Wednesday with representatives of international missions and organizations assisting Albania. They talked on the one-year cooperation and successes in that work. Olldashi said that results of such a success were capturing 119 kilograms of heroin, double compared to a year ago. He also said there have been 83 persons killed, or 39 less than a year ago, during the last 11 months. There have been arrested 1,602 persons, or 617 more than a year ago. Out of them 123 were for murder, 404 for crimes against persons, 68 for illegal trafficking and 138 for criminal economic and financial records while 48 for drug trafficking. Olldashi thanked international partners for such successes.
