Italian embassy sponsors intiatives for energy, telecommuniactiona and education

TIRANA, March. 13- A series of seminars have the support of the Italian embassy for different regions of Albania concerning the issues of energy, telecommunications and development. On March 10th the University of Shkodra hosted such a seminar to address its role as a engine of development for the northern Albania given its strategic location and academic capacities. The conference addressed the potential of this university to become a reference point for integration. Other events will be organized in the cities of Fier and Elbasan with a special focus on energy while a special event will be addressed by minister of telecommunications, Sokol Olldashi, will address collaboration opportunities between Albania and Italy in the fields of Internet services and mailing systems.
