Italian Green Energy seeks wind farm, bio-fuel power plant construction

TIRANA, Jan.11- Prime Minister Sali Berisha has been presented with plans for a major renewable energy project, valued at 400 million euro. Italian-Albanian Green Energy, a subsidiary of the Italian Marseglia Group, is seeking permission from the government to build a wind farm and a bio-fuel power plant in northern Albania. The total generating capacity of these two projects is expected to be over 410 MW.
