TIRANA, Oct 29 – Justice Minister Enkelejd Alibeaj defied the calls from the international community that the government should not break the independence of the justice institutions.
The minister said that the executive was determined to take to the parliament for approval seven draft laws that have been widely contested from judges, prosecutors, attorneys and also specialized international community representatives in Tirana.
The opposition has made it clear that they will not support that voting which asks for a three-fifth, or 84 votes of the 140-seat parliament.
