Kosovo senior official meets top Albanian counterparts

TIRANA, April 5 – Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Edita Tahiri held a visit in Albania last weekend during which she met with all top officials in the neighboring country.
In the meetings Tahiri and the hosts talked about the developments in Kosovo and the talks it is holding with Serbia. Tahiri leads the Kosovo delegation in those talks.
Bilateral ties and the regional issues were other topics of interests for the neighboring officials.
Officials of both countries expressed their gratitude to the U.S. and the EU for their support in these technical talks and appreciated the fact that today Kosovo is not only one of the safest countries, with the lowest indicators of criminality in the region and in Europe, but clearly has become an important factor in stability, security and promoting cooperation and friendship in the region.
