TIRANA, May 19 – Kuwaiti Ambassador to Albania Najib Al-Bader inaugurated on Monday a newly renovated orphanage in the northern Albanian city of Shkodra.
“The orphanage’s renovation and furnishing was financed by a grant from Kuwait’s Cabinet,” he said, adding that the move is meant to help improve care for orphans and vulnerable children in order to enable them to face their challenges.
“Such a project is one of a series of Kuwaiti humanitarian projects in Albania,” the Kuwaiti diplomat noted, adding that orphans need educational, social, and psychological care to help them integrate into the society and face life’s challenges.
The ambassador stressed the importance of creating a friendly and helpful atmosphere for orphans to boost their social ability and interaction.
