Labor Ministry and Journalists Union to sign agreement

TIRANA, Dec. 26 – The Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities and the Union of Journalists will sign this week an agreement on employment of journalists which aims at eliminating the black labor among the media outlets. That would serve to oblige media owners to sign contracts on employment of their journalist staff. Aleksander Cipa of the Journalists Union said that signing that agreement would “increase the official communication so that the journalists’ community may have a protection from a trade union.” more than 90 percent of journalists work in black labor, according to their Union.
