SHKODRA, FIER, TIRANA, Nov. 6 – Police, prosecutor offices, courts and social services held a three-day seminar Wednesday-Friday on public awareness for a fair legal process and protection of trafficking victims. The semianr was held in the cities of Shkodra, Fieri and Tirana. They were held and organized jointly by the albanian coordinator on the fight against human trafficking, Vice Interior Minister Iva Zajmi, and the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime aiming at strengtening the control of the borders and improving judciiary system against illegal trafficking and organized crime in Albania. The semianrs were participated by senior local authorities, prosecutors, judges, social workers and other personnel. The semianrs aim at improving collaoration among different law-enforcement agencies and institutions in the fight and prevention of human trafficking.
