Lithuania ratifies Albania’s NATO protocol

TIRNA, Oct 6 – Lithuania became the fourth country to ratify Albania’s NATO membership protocol it signed earlier in summer.
Albania and Croatia got the membership invitation from the alliance in April and hopes to become a full NATO member next year.
U.S., Hungary and Latvia were the other three countries that have ratified the protocol, which needs to get ratification from all 26 NATO members before the countries may get membership.
