TIRANA, July 4 – The World Tourism Organization has announced it will organize a major international conference in Tirana to exchange experiences on how to manage seasonality in tourism.
The expertise and strategies to help public authorities and business community address the effects of seasonality and promote sustainable growth of tourism and employment will be the focus of the conference, scheduled to start on Oct. 20.
Seasonal fluctuations in the number of visitors, widely known as seasonality in tourism, are closely linked to weather or other factors, such as religious, public or school holidays.
Participants will also debate on the best policies and approaches in central and southeastern Europe.
