KAVAJA, July 19 – Police have arrested Eduardo Krasniqi, 39, a resident of Karpen village in Kruja district, who had been wanted by an Italian court in Brindisi.
The Brindisi court had sentenced Krasniqi to 18 years imprisonment for drug trafficking and also participation into a criminal organization.
At the same time Kavaja district court had also issued an arrest warrant for the same charges.
In another operation Tirana police arrested Lulezim Tabaku, 26, a resident of Lushnj묠finding him with nine kilograms of cannabis sativa. Police found the drugs at his car in Linze, including some false documents he possessed.
