Media session on regulation of e-communications convened

TIRANA, July 4 – The Albanian Media Institute held a media briefing last month on electronic communications and international documents that affect media.

Participants were briefed on the regulatory laws pertaining to the electronic communications industry and the main documents that provide rules in this area, such as Framework Directive, Access and Interconnection Directive, Universal Service Directive, Privacy and Electronic Communications Directive, and others.

Representatives from the Regulatory Entity of Telecommunications introduced the participants to the main principles of regulation in this area and the expected impact on the consumer.
