Ministers give up parliamentary seats

TIRANA, Dec. 18 – Seven ministers of Prime Minister Edi Rama’s cabinet handed over their parliamentary seats this week in line with the pledge taken from the leftist coalition before coming to power.
They were replaced with seven other members from their respective political parties נthe Socialist Party and the Socialist Movement for Integration Party, LSI.
Anduel Xhindi replaces Ilirjan Celibashi, Adelina Rista for Eglantina Gjermeni, Vladimir Kosta for Erjon Veliaj, Miranda Rira for Edmond Haxhinasto, Enkeleda Shkreli for Milena Harito, Kejdi Mehmetaj for Klajda Gjosha.
Rama has said that all cabinet members give up their lawmakers’ position, with the exception of himself.
The move was also certified from the Central Election Commission Wednesday.
It is worth being noted the fact that Mehmetaj turns into the youngest lawmaker in the Albanian Parliament, at just 20. She us representative of SMI.
