TIRANA, Dec. 12 – Two moderate tremors shook northern Albania Tuesday causing no damage, according to the Seismological Institute. The quakes at 09:50 and 09:57 local time were with a preliminary magnitude of 3.6 and 3 Richter scale near the village of Spac in Mirdita. There have been no reports of damage from the quake, which was felt in all surrounding districts. An earthquake of magnitudes between 2.5 and 3 is the smallest generally felt by people. A quake of magnitude 4 to 5 can cause moderate damage in populated areas.
