SKOPJE, Macedonia, May 31 – A two-day conference on regional stability and NATO integration began on Monday in Bitola, Macedonia.
The event focused on developing a common trans-Atlantic vision and the future prospects of the Balkans, Macedonia’s defense ministry said on its website.
Defense ministers and top defense officials from 11 countries — including Albania, Croatia, Slovenia, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro — as well as representatives of the Regional Center for Security Co-operation, the EU and NATO Command in Naples will attend the event.
