TIRANA, Nov. 15 – A new 33-km road linking the town of Lezha to the Vau i Dejes municipality was inaugurated last weekend in northern Albania, government said. The road, worth 774 million lek (7.7 million dollars) linking the regions of Lezha and Shkodra will serve some 30,000 inhabitants of 8 communes and municipalities. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Prime Minister Berisha promised other infrastructural investments in the two northern regions. Parliament Speaker Jozefina Topalli, a deputy elected from the Shkodra region constituency, and local government officials attended the inauguration ceremony.
