New passports with Skanderbeg face

TIRANA, Dec 4 – The new biometric passports that are expected to come out next year will not have the eagle symbol as a background graphic but the Skanderbeg face, according to prime minister Sali Berisha.
That was made know at a government meeting saying that Skanderbeg face would be seen in every single page of the new passport.
The eagle, a symbol of Albanians, has been traditionally seen in the passports.
The premier did not made clear what were the reasons of changing the passport image.
