POGRADEC, June 20 – Pogradec will have a new water supply system that is to guarantee no water stoppages in this important tourist destination.
The new water system was built following an investment of 11.54 million Euros, funded by the Swiss and German governments in collaboration with the Albanian government. Guaranteed water supplies will be of great assistance to the tourist town just prior to the start of the this year’s season.
Also in Pogradec, a 14 million euros canalization system is being built.
The German government has invested large amounts in Pogradec and Korca’s water supply systems, canals and other infrastructure programs.
