TIRANA, Nov 17 – US President-elect Barack Obama’s “Audacity to hope” book was promoted Monday in the Albanian capital translated into Albanian.
US Ambassador John L. Withers urged Albanian politicians and common people to read the book to see how prejudice may be thrown away like those in his homeland.
Withers present at the promotional event said, “The message of the book is not only for Americans but for every country and people.”
“After reading this book which deals with hard issues,” said Withers, “you will understand that you can too. I urge you to read this book and understand that yes, you can make it.”
Obama has written two books, “Dreams From My Father” and “The Audacity of Hope,” both million sellers in which he tells his own story.
Demand has been so high for that book in the US.
