DURRES, KORCA, June 21 – Police arrested last week Vilma Nesturi, 46, a resident in the western port city of Durres, charging her with corruption and abuse of post.
Nesturi is a lawyer of the road transport department in Shkozet, Durres, and is accused for alleged crimes she had committed during her post at the mortgage office before. She had allegedly asked a person to pay 10,000 Euros to get a property certificated at a place where a new building was to be constructed.
In south-eastern Korca police arrested Arben Hoxha, 51, and Shkelqim Kajmaku, 52, accusing them of corruption.
Hoxha served as human resource person of the court administration while Kajmaku was the court’s chancellor.
They are suspects of abusing with their posts in exchange of half a million leks which they had received for a faster legal procedure.
