TIRANA, Sept. 3 – There has been public outrage in Albania after a 39-year-old Shkodra judge, Fildes Hafizi, was shot dead in public in a Tirana’s Xhamlliku neighborhood on Aug. 31 by her former husband. Fadil Kasemi, 51, who was arrested and faces life in prison, had already served time in jail for beating and threatening his ex-wife following their divorce in 2015.
