TIRANA, July 16 – The pedophilia trial of two Britons and a Greek citizen may soon engulf other foreigners in Albania, this time the medical personnel of the ABC clinic who had checked the abused children.
ABC’s Guy Eshelman and other personnel of the clinic may become part of the ongoing trial of David Brown and two others accused of sexually abusing Albanian children they worked with at a non-governmental center.
Local media reports that Eshelman had confirmed he was aware of the abuse but he had not reported this since he did not trust Albanian authorities.
Eshelman will also be investigated regarding testimony he had given about Brown, saying he was sexually impotent.
Brown was arrested two years ago while the two others were extradited to Albania from England earlier this year.
