TIRANA, Nov. 1 – Arben Zylyftari police academy became a full member of the European Association of police colleges and academies, police reported Wednesday. The association was created in 1996 and has 43 European countries as members. Until now the Albanian academy had an observer’s status. Besides Albania, the Bucharest meeting Oct. 25 also accepted Turkey and Latvia as members. The membership will serve as a good tool to further strengthen partnerships and share experience with counterparts.
