VLORA, March 23 – Vlora taxation police closed seven bakeries whose scales for weighing bread may have been tampered with.
This followed routine police inspections of more than 40 bakeries. Police report fining some bakeries due to various regulatory infractions while seven bakeries were temporarily closed due to more severe bookkeeping problems including charging the incorrect price for bread.
