TIRANA, April.20 – An interesting charity mission will deliver donated goods to Albanian rural sectors in need. The Nottinghamshire Police Aid Convoy charity will be leaving Mansfield’s Civic Centre this weekend to set off on another mission of mercy to deliver donated goods to people in poor parts of Albania. The charity is in its 14th year after being set up by its chairman and retired police inspector David Scott in 1993 נand has so far made 18 trips to war-torn areas in Russia, Romania, Kosovo and Albania. This trip will see 30 tons of humanitarian aid donated from this area being transported by two huge lorries, driven by members of the charity instead of low-cost haulage companies.
