Police consults on 7-year strategy

TIRANA, April 10 – Police consulted Tuesday with international donors on its seven-year strategy on public order. They presented the goals of the next seven years and asked for further advise. International donors were presented by the diplomatic corps, OSCE, Council of Europe, ICITAP, PAMECA, Interforce and other international organizations operating in the country. The purpose of the strategy was to orientate police work so that it achieves better results in the future. It aims at strengthening the fight against organized crime and terrorism, better border management, better security at the roads and other daily items.
