TIRANA, March 30 – Police reported they had found 1.5 kilograms of marijuana and had arrested five suspects involved in drug trafficking.
Police arrested Skerdilajd Miri, 23, Artur Selmani, 24, Ervis Gjuzi, 27, Ilir Gashi, 23, and Edmond Kalija, 23, near Kashar, a village close to the capital Tirana.
Police reported the group was being followed and accused them of distributing large amounts of narcotics in the capital’s outskirts after collecting the drugs from the nearby Kruja district.
Police had investigated the group for the last two months.
