TIRANA, Dec. 24 – Police chief Bajram Ibraj checked last weekend all border crossing points in southern Albania which have been flooded with thousands of Albanian immigrants coming back home to celebrate Christmas and New Year. Albanian police have held series of meetings with their Greek counterparts in order to facilitate the border crossing which has always been a headache with Albanian immigrants staying for hours on end. This year however there have been more points at each crossing, especially from the Greek side. There are five crossing points with Greece. Ibraj also held meetings with police in those districts trying to facilitate the driving of the arrivals along the roads.
