TIRANA, May 21 – Prosecutor General Ina Rama and Justice Minister Enkelejd Alibeaj met Wednesday to discuss further strengthening the cooperation between their two agencies.
Cooperation among law enforcement institutions has long been an issue of dispute between the agencies, particularly regarding the fight against organized crime.
The new agreement aims to shorten the time of operations and also reduce bureaucracy that often negatively affects their work.
The same agreement was signed earlier this month by the Prosecutor General and the Interior Ministry. (Tirana Times Staff)
