TIRANA, Nov. 21 – The governing left-wing Socialist Party and its leader, Prime Minister Edi Rama, have been holding a national tour they say aims to “clean up” Albania and promote tourism.

Rama goes to different cities almost every weekend to push the government’s message of cleaning the country as a good step in its efforts to promote tourism and attract more foreign investments to the country.

He also uses the meetings to promote other government initiatives.

While Fier last Saturday, Rama said that the reforms of his cabinet cannot give results immediately. They need patience, he added.

“Reforms are operations asking for passion, patience and time,” he said, mentioning a series of results achieved during the two years they have been in power that have given direct impact on the live of the people.
