TIRANA, Dec. 8 – Slovenian Prime Minister Borut Pahor visited Albania Wednesday to meet with top host officials and also take part at a Slovenian-Albanian business meeting.
The main issue that could be taken out of the visit is that Slovenia, a European Union member country, will try to bring more investment in the country.
Pahor met with Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha who also repeated thanks for the Slovenian European lawmaker Tanja Fajon who made a great job to bring visa liberalization for Albania and Bosnia.
Slovenia also inaugurated its new embassy in Tirana.
Both premiers shared the opinion that a Serbia-Kosovo dialogue is indispensable.
Pahor also pledged assistance to Albania’s efforts to cope with flooding.
