TIRANA, Oct 29 – The Reformed Democratic party of vice Premier Genc Pollo formally melted with the main Democratic Party of Prime Minister Sali Berisha Wednesday in a move that more aimed at the next year’s general elections.
Pollo left the Democrats nine years ago after quarreling with Berisha when he tried to run for the post of the party leadership as a rival to him.
After a freezing moment they soon warmed up and Berisha invited Pollo in his cabinet when he came back to power three years ago, first as education minister and now as his deputy.
