Socialist MPs who voted for Topi to join HRUP parliamentary group

TIRANA, Jan. 21- Five lawmakers from the opposition Socialist Party who were expelled from their party ranks after voting for Bamir Topi as President last July are expected to join the Human Rights Union Party (HRUP) group, according to a local newspaper.
HRUP chairman, Vangjel Dule, neither confirmed nor denied the information, according to Panorama. Those lawmakers expected to join the HRUP are Durim Lamaj, Durim Hushi, Bukurosh Stafa, Taulant Dedja and Hamit Kosta. Another former Socialist lawmaker, Paulin Sterkaj, has already joined the Republican Party.
