Spanish company assists Albanian army information technology

TIRANA, June 17 – Defense Minister Gazmend Oketa met Tuesday with representatives of the Spanish INDRA company, known in the information technology area.
The Spanish company has offered assistance to Albanian military institutions for creating a master plan for an information technology system for the armed forces that will meet NATO standards.
Albania received a NATO membership invitation in April and expects to become a full member next year. (Tirana Times Staff)
