TIRANA, May 25 – Close cooperation between the Albanian and Italian police led to the arrest of two people who were trying to traffic drugs with a nine-meter-long speedboat.
First the speedboat that had left the Albanian shores was directed toward the Fanos Islands in Greece. When it was followed the speedboat turned direction toward the Italian seaside.
The boat was stopped at 02.45 local time and Valentin Ndoj and Arben Isufi who were aboard were arrested.
It is suspected they were transporting drugs.
