Switzerland’s development assistance to continue

TIRANA, July 4 – The Swiss Cooperation Office in Albania (SCO-A) has celebrated its 15th anniversary of continuous development work in the country. In the presence of government officials, diplomatic representatives and civil society partners, the Swiss presence in the country sent last week a clear message: Switzerland’s development assistance will continue in Albania.
Under the slogan ‘Celebrating 15 Years of Fruitful Partnership with Albania’ the event featured a relaxed atmosphere with brief speeches, interaction and live music. SCO-A Deputy Country Director, Ms. Anne Savary introduced samples of recent projects funded through the so-called “Swiss Cooperation Fund.” These projects have been implemented all over Albania, including support for a new Women’s Museum– all in all almost 100 successes during the past 14 years of development work.
