VLORA, Jan. 30 – A 16-year old boy died after a building of a former plant fell over him.
Ilmi Canaj was digging for scrap, together with two other partners, which would be sold to secure some money to support his family.
Part of the old building, belonging to a former plant producing lamps in the southwestern port city, fell and he was dead.
Firefighters needed more than two hours to take the corpse out of the ruins.
Canaj is the third dead at the former plant area in the last two years.
