THIRRE, Nov. 21 – One of the tunnels in Thirre, part of the Durres-Kukes-Morine segment, was temporarily blocked Sunday due to a fire inside.
There was no material or human damage from the fire.
One of the power cabins was the cause of the fire and one of the tunnels was closed for half an hour.
Security at the tunnels also did not break due to the back-up system.
The tunnel started its full operation with both lines only last October.
