TIRANA, Dec. 26 – Three fires frightened Tirana citizens and damaged shops and office in the capital Tirana Tuesday. One of them burnt down some offices and a bar just in front of police department downtown Tirana. Police evacuated people found in the building and around. Two fires exploded in other places, apartment buildings, and luckily there were no human damages as they were soon put under the firefighters’ control. But the fires also showed that there is neither the proper infrastructure to fight flames, nor the service required may arrive soon due to heavy traffic in the capital. Firefighters also lacked the proper tools to fight flames in special conditions as they were confronted in these cases.
