TIRANA, Jan. 19 – Albania and Russia are looking for a fresh start in relations, as preparations to establish an intergovernmental commission for commerce, economic and scientific cooperation take shape as a first step. Work on the commission was made public by the Russian embassy in Tirana. Russian Ambassador Aleksander Karpushin met with the Albanian deputy minister for economic development, commerce and enterprise, Adela Karapici, in order to discuss about the coming session of the Intergovernmental Commission, the first time since 2009 that such process takes time between the two countries.
