TIRANA, Sept. 11 – Albania’s Transport Minister Edmond Haxhinasto met with a delegation of the Chinese company CRRC, the largest of its kind in China.

The minister explained how the government was working to renew the railway system in the country.

The government is trying to build a new rail-line linking Tirana, Rinas airport and Durres.

Authorities are also working with the feasibility study of the rail system in general and on the efforts to link it with the systems in the neighboring countries like Kosovo and Macedonia, so that it can become part of the European network.
