FIER, Jan.1 – An explosive was set at the house of a lawyer and a prosecutor in Fier early Monday and its explosion caused material damage to the house but no human victims, according to police. Only half an hour after midnight there was heard an explosion which at the first moment was believed to be from fireworks. Police later said that some 100 grams of TNT explosion had damaged Kujtim Sinaj’s house. It was set near the roof and it caused damage to the sleeping room while the people were at the sitting room enjoying the New Year festivities. Sinaj’s son is prosecutor in the city. Police said they had questioned some 35 persons but no one has been charged or arrested.
