Topi: Italy, a strategic partner for Albania

TIRANA, Aug 6ؐresident of Albania, Bamir Topi, considered Italy as an important strategic partner. Topi has made this statement in the second day of his working visit to Bari, in a separate meeting with the President of Puglia, Nikola Vendola.
At this meeting the President, after pointing out the achievements and positive changes in Albania in terms of European integration, praising the precious contribution of Italy to the processes, outlined the need for further intensification of trade and economic exchanges in the areas of energy, tourism, agriculture, etc.
President of Albania, Bamir Topi also invited Italian investors to invest more in Albania.
On his part, Mr. Vendola emphasized the need for further collaboration between the region of Puglia and Albania in field such as agriculture, healthcare, and tourism.
