TIRANA, May 4 – Police in neighboring Montenegro told a group of Albanian high school students who were on visit to the tourist hub of Budva not to wave their national flag in the city.

Budva is a very popular destination for Albanians on short trips.

Montenegrin local newspaper Vijesti reported that high school students were from Tirana and that they were taking pictures with the flag in one of the resort town’s beaches.

Displaying the flags of other countries is regulated by law and special regulations in Montenegro, and that is considered an infringement, the newspaper explained.
