TIRANA, Nov. 21 – A group of women wearing black veils on Saturday sparked fear in Tirana while they were driving around on top of their vehicles. The country has been on the edge following threats by terrorists.
Police said they were aware of a video clip being filmed with the group of women in Middle Eastern-style dress.
Police charged the people responsible with traffic offenses.
The film crew said it was musical clip and the chosen dresses were aimed at an Aladdin and Ali Baba theme.
“Relax people! Is just a video! Make love not war!” said Ronela Hajati, the singer in charge of the clip.
There has been increased vigilance in Albania following the terrorist attacks in Paris, France.
Albania has increased security steps especially in Tirana where policemen have been given heavy weapons while patrolling the streets.
