St. Louis County, March 31 – A woman of Albanian origin living in the USA has lost her battle to keep her husband from being deported, though she and her child will stay in the U.S.
Tila Agastra said her three year old daughter is a natural born American citizen, and she herself expects to apply for U.S citizenship in two years. Her husband, Armandi Hoxha, was deported to Albania because he entered the U.S. illegally seven years ago.
Before she was married, Agastra and her parents also entered the U.S. illegally, but they received political asylum and were allowed to stay. (Tirana Times Staff)
