TIRANA, Oct. 5 – Agriculture minister Jemin Gjana met Thursday with Nadir Mohammed, head of the World Bank office in Tirana, to discuss on the project funded from the bank for the Albanian agriculture sector. The bank is the biggest investor for the country’s agriculture. Its projects have spread countrywide in rehabilitation of irrigation and sewage networks, building markets for agriculture products, the land market, and so on. Gjana told Mohammed that the government considered of high priority the project on the rehabilitation of the protective walls along the rivers and repeated the request for more help.
